Booking Procedure

Book your appointment online or by contacting your practitioner. For your first visit, select Initial Consultation. To check a practitioner's current availability, tap the BOOK button on their card in the Appointments section of the Home page. Please be aware of our appointment cancellation policy, as cancellations, no-shows, and chronic rescheduling may require you to prepay for future appointments. Follow-up sessions are typically booked in person, but can also be arranged online, in accordance with our osteopathic treatment policy and the COVID-19 health measures in place.

Intake Forms

Your practitioner will assist you in completing your intake and waiver forms during your initial consultation. If you have any questions regarding the appointment cancellation policy, COVID-19 health measures, or the osteopathic treatment policy, please feel free to ask them during the appointment.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

If you miss, reschedule, or cancel your appointment within 24 hours, please be aware of our appointment cancellation policy, which requires you to pay the regular fee for your appointment. In light of the COVID-19 health measures, we may charge the credit card kept on file in the event of a late cancellation or non-appearance, in accordance with our osteopathic treatment policy.

Arriving on Time

To accommodate everyone, we strictly observe our appointment schedule as part of our osteopathic treatment policy. If you arrive late, we can only provide treatment for the remaining time in your booking. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to change and fully enjoy your session while also adhering to our COVID-19 health measures. Please also be aware of our appointment cancellation policy.

Keeping a Healthy Environment

If you feel unwell or are experiencing flu-like symptoms prior to your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss our appointment cancellation policy and reschedule. In line with our COVID-19 health measures, Osteopathic Balance provides hand sanitizer in the change rooms; we kindly ask that you use it before entering the treatment area.

Additional Attendees

Treatment is one-on-one, requiring the practitioner’s full attention on their patient, in accordance with our osteopathic treatment policy. If you need a caregiver to accompany you, please indicate this when booking your appointment. Additionally, please be aware of our appointment cancellation policy. Osteopathic Balance provides a quiet lobby where your caregiver may wait until your session is finished, all while adhering to COVID-19 health measures.

A Note About COVID-19

Osteopathic Balance follows the COVID-19 health measures set by the Ministry of Health, Public Health, and the Ontario Osteopathic Association to prevent the spread of the virus. Practitioners ensure surfaces are sanitized and practice hand hygiene between every appointment. If you have specific concerns, such as our appointment cancellation policy or the need for additional precautions, you can request that your practitioner wear a mask when booking your appointment.
